quicklink | crowdsourcing for the mac mini

Mac-mini-2-june-2010

so far crowdsourcing for the fibre streaming studio has been brilliant in terms of sponsors that have all helped and step forward to donate equipment that we are using in the basement space here in the lace market house.  we do have a bit of an issue at the moment which is stopping us progress and the studio we need to get this one piece of much required equipment is currently out of our reach.

so we thought we would crowdsource fund it.  in return we will give many perks as you can see on the right hand side of the project.  we are looking for £10, £25, £50 and £100 offerings and we have set an aggressive timescale of seven days on the project.  i’m also offering to screencast and document the process of making the most of the mac mini and how you can fully set one of these up to do the same kind of functions as we are doing.

i hope you’ll donate we have a potentially sweet deal with krcs in nottingham about a second hand piece of kit around the same price.
